Os organóides intestinais derivados de células-tronco pluripotentes induzidas pelo homem (hiPSC) oferecem oportunidades emocionantes para modelar doenças entéricas in vitro. Nós demonstramos a diferenciação de hiPSCs em organoids intestinais (iHOs), na estimulação destes iHOs com cytokines, e na microinjeção de Salmonella typhimurium no lúmen de Iho, permitindo o estudo de uma invasão epithelial por este Patógeno.
