1-aryl-1H-pyrazol-5-aminer framställs av aryl hydraziner kombinerat med antingen 3-aminokrotononitril eller en α-cyanoketon i en 1 M HCl-lösning med hjälp av en mikrovågsugn reaktor. De flesta reaktionerna görs i 10-15 minuter och ren produkt kan erhållas via vakuum filtrering med typisk isolerad avkastning på 70-90%.
