Ein *BEA-Samenkristall wurde nach dem Dip-Coating-Verfahren auf eine poröse Stütze von Al2O3 geladen und hydrothermal angebaut, ohne ein organisches Strukturdirektmittel zu verwenden. Eine *BEA-artige Zeolithmembran mit sehr wenigen Defekten wurde mit der sekundären Wachstumsmethode erfolgreich hergestellt.
