פיתחנו פרוטוקול לטרנספקציה של תאי אפיתל פיגמנט אנושיים ראשוניים על ידי אלקטרופורציה עם הגן המקודד גורם שמקורו באפיתל פיגמנטי (PEDF) באמצעות מערכת הטרנספוזון של היפהפייה הנרדמת (SB). העברה מוצלחת הודגמה על ידי תגובת שרשרת פולימראז כמותית (qPCR), אימונובלוטינג ובדיקת אימונוסורבנט הקשורה לאנזים (ELISA).
