Dieses Protokoll beschreibt die konsekutive Implantation einer osmotischen Pumpe zur Induktion eines Bauchaortenaneurysmas durch Angiotensin-II-Freisetzung bei Mäusen mit Apolipoprotein E (ApoE)-Mangel und eines vaskulären Zugangsports mit einem Jugularvenenkatheter zur wiederholten medikamentösen Behandlung. Die Überwachung der Aneurysmaentwicklung durch 3D-Ultraschall wird trotz dorsaler Implantate effektiv durchgeführt.
