Un protocole d'ARN ribosomal épuisement (ARNr) a été développé afin d'enrichir l'ARN messager (ARNm) pour l'ARN-seq de la metatranscriptome intestin du moustique. Les sondes de prélèvement ARNr spécifiques, qui ont été utilisés pour retirer l'ARNr par soustraction, ont été créés à partir du moustique et ses microbes intestinaux. Performances du protocole peut entraîner la suppression d'environ 90-99% de l'ARNr.
