Het protocol beschrijft de synthese en de elektrochemische testen van platina-nikkel nanowires. Nanowires werden gesynthetiseerd door de galvanische verplaatsing van een nikkel nanowire sjabloon. Na synthese verwerking, met inbegrip van waterstof gloeien, zuur uitloging en zuurstof gloeien werden gebruikt voor het optimaliseren van nanowire prestaties en duurzaamheid in de reactie van de vermindering van zuurstof.
