Vi presenterer en prosedyre for voksende flere stammer av Magnetospirillum i to forskjellige typer av veksten medier. Magnetospirillum gryphiswaldense belastning MSR-1 er vokst både flytende og O2 konsentrasjon gradient halvfaste media mens M. magneticum belastning AMB-1 og M. magnetotacticum belastning MS-1 er dyrket i flytende medium.
