Este artículo describe dos protocolos: 1) terapia con láser de diodo adyuvante para tratar la periodontitis y 2) terapia con probióticos Lactobacillus para tratar la enfermedad periimplantaria, con énfasis en el modo de uso del láser (bolsillo interior o exterior), régimen de aplicación de láser (sesiones únicas o múltiples) y un protocolo probiótico de administración profesional y domiciliaria.
