Vi har nyligen rapporterat ett nytt sätt för att generera fluorogena DNAzyme sonder som kan användas för att fastställa en enkel, "mix-and-läsa" fluorescerande analys för bakteriell detektering. Dessa särskilda DNA-prober katalysera klyvningen av en kromofor-modifierad DNA-RNA-chimär substrat i närvaro av rå extracellulär blandning (CEM) producerad av en specifik bakterie, därigenom omvandla bakteriell detektion i fluorescenssignal generationen. I denna rapport kommer vi att beskriva de viktigaste experimentella försök där en specifik DNAzyme sond betecknas "RFD-EC1" används för detektion av modellen bakterien,<em> Escherichia coli (E. coli)</em>.
