Een eenvoudige methode voor het afleiden van en onderhouden van SSC en stamceltransplantatie lijnen van volwassen muizen wordt hier gepresenteerd. De werkwijze gebruikt voedingscellen afkomstig van de somatische cel compartiment van de volwassen muis testis. Deze techniek is voor het gemeenschappelijk muizenstammen, inclusief transgene, knock-out en knock-in muizen.
