Etablering av humane modeller av blod-hjerne-barrieren (BBB) kan dra nytte forskning på hjerne tilstander forbundet med BBB svikt. Vi beskriver her en forbedret teknikk for fremstilling av en kontakt BBB-modell, som tillater coculturing av humane astrocytter og hjerne endotelceller på hver sin side av en porøs membran.
