Biologisk membran fusjon er katalysert av spesialiserte fusjons proteiner. Måle fusogenic egenskaper av proteiner kan oppnås ved lipid miksing analyser. Vi presenterer en metode for rensing av rekombinant Drosophila atlastin, et protein som formidler homotypic fusjon av AKUTTEN, rekonstituering av det til preformed liposomer, og testing for fusjons kapasitet.
