Laryngotrachealstenose resultiert aus pathologischer Narbenablagerung, die die Luftröhre kritisch verengt und keine wirksamen medizinischen Therapien hat. Mit einem PLLA-PCL (70% Poly-L-Laktid und 30% Polycaprolacton) Stent als lokales Arzneimittelabgabesystem, können mögliche Therapien zur Verringerung der Narbenproliferation in der Luftröhre untersucht werden.
