Ce protocole décrit une méthode commune et faisable d’induire des lésions hépatiques aigues (ALI) par l’intermédiaire de l’exposition CC4 par un tube orogastricrique. L’exposition CC4 induit l’ALI par la formation d’espèces réactives d’oxygène pendant sa biotransformation dans le foie. Cette méthode est utilisée pour analyser la pathophysiologie d’ALI et examiner différentes stratégies hépatoprotectives.
