Präsentiert wird ein Protokoll zur Isolierung von humanen und tierischen ventrikulären Kardiomyozyten aus vibratomegeschnittenen Myokardscheiben. Hohe Erträge von kalziumtoleranten Zellen (bis zu 200 Zellen/mg) können aus kleinen Gewebemengen (<50 mg) gewonnen werden. Das Protokoll gilt für Myokard, das bis zu 36 h kalten Ischämien ausgesetzt ist.
