El estudio describe un protocolo para crear grandes cantidades (μg-mg) de ADN para campañas de detección de proteínas a partir de fragmentos de genes sintéticos sin clonar ni usar células vivas. La plantilla mínima se digiere y circula enzimáticamente y luego se amplifica mediante amplificación de círculo de rodadura isotérmica. Las reacciones de expresión libre de células podrían realizarse con el producto no purificado.
