Nous illustrons l'utilisation d'une constante de force axiale pinces optiques pour étudier les propriétés mécaniques des molécules d'ADN courts. En étirant l'ADN axialement, nous minimisons empêchements stériques et des artefacts liés à la manipulation latérale conventionnelle, ce qui nous permet d'étudier les molécules d'ADN plus court ~ 100 nm.
