In dieser zweiteiligen Studie wurde ein biologischer Aktuator mit hochflexiblen Polydimethylsiloxan (PDMS) Cantilever und lebenden Muskelzellen (Kardiomyozyten) entwickelt und charakterisiert. Der biologische Aktuator wurde mit einer Basis aus modifizierten PDMS-Materialien eingebaut, um einen selbststabilisierenden, schwimmenden Biorobot aufzubauen.
