Este protocolo utilizó un sistema de miógrafo de presión disponible comercialmente para realizar pruebas de miógrafo de presión en la vagina murina y el cuello uterino. Utilizando medios con y sin calcio, las contribuciones del tono basal de las células musculares lisas (SMC) y la matriz extracelular pasiva (ECM) se aislaron para los órganos en condiciones fisiológicas estimadas.
