In diesem Protokoll wird eine Methode der murinen Islet-Isolierung und Transplantation in das inguinale subkutane weiße Fettgewebe beschrieben. Isolierte syngene murinische Inselchen werden mit einem Kellermembranhydrogel in einen murinen Empfänger transplantiert. Der Blutzuckerspiegel der Empfänger wird überwacht und die Histologieanalyse der Islettransplantate durchgeführt.
