We beschrijven een methode om harige wortels te induceren door Agrobacterium rhizogenes-gemedieerde transformatie in Tartary boekweit(Fagopyrum tataricum). Dit kan worden gebruikt om genfuncties en de productie van secundaire metabolieten in Tartary boekweit te onderzoeken, worden aangenomen voor elke genetische transformatie, of gebruikt voor andere geneeskrachtige planten na verbetering.
