Ett protokoll för anisotropisk photodeposition av PD på akvilöst suspenderade au nanorör via lokaliserad yta Plasmon excitation presenteras.
Ett protokoll beskrivs för att Fotokatalytiskt vägleda PD deposition på Au nanorör (aunr) med hjälp av ytan plasmon resonans (SPR). Upphetsad plasmoniska heta elektroner på spr bestrålning driva reduktiv deposition av PD på kolloidal aunr i närvaro av [pdcl4]2-. Plasmon-driven reduktion av sekundära metaller potentierar kovalenta, sub-våglängd deposition på riktade platser sammanfaller med elektriska fältet “hot-spots” av plasmoniska substrat med hjälp av ett externt fält (t. ex. laser). Att vägleda metall deposition på plasmoniska substrat via plasmoniska heta bärare som genereras från en resonant externt fält kan stödja 2-stegs bildning av heterometallic, anisotropiska nanostrukturer vid omgivningsförhållanden med nya frihetsgrader1 ,2,3. Konventionella redox kemi, Vapor deposition, och/eller elektronedfall metoder är dåligt lämpade för stora volymer bearbetning. Detta beror främst på överskott/sacrificial reagens avfall, låg genomströmning 5 + steg litografi processer och energiintensiva miljöer (0,01-10 torr och/eller 400-1000 ° c temperaturer) med liten eller ingen direkt kontroll över resulterande materialegenskaper . Nedsänkning av ett plasmoniskt substrat (t. ex. au nanopartiklar/frö) till en prekursor miljö (t. ex. vattenlösning av PD-salt) under belysning på lokaliserad yta Plasmon resonans (SPR) initierar externt-tunable (dvs. fältpolarisering och intensitet) fotokemisk avsättning av föregångaren via plasmoniska heta elektroner och/eller fototermiska gradienter3,4. Emellertid, utnyttjande av femtosecondlaser plasmoniska heta elektroner att direkt photoreduce metallsalter på en metall-lösning gränssnitt är fortfarande till stor del outvecklade, frånvarande processer som sysselsätter citrat eller poly (vinylpyrrolidone) ligander som agerar som mellanhand avgift relä till rikta nucleation/tillväxt av den sekundära belägga med metall2,10,11,12. Övervakning av förändringar i optisk absorbans med transmission UV-VIS spektroskopi är användbart för att bedöma status för fotokatalytisk reaktion, med särskild uppmärksamhet på LMCT-funktionerna i H2pdcl4.
