Een gemakkelijke, een-pot-synthese van N-succinimidyl-4-[<sup> 18</sup> F] fluorobenzoate ([<sup> 18</sup> F] SFB) is ontwikkeld op basis van een niet-waterig, drie-stappen-radiochemische proces. Met behulp van verwarmen in de magnetron, kan de gehele procedure worden afgerond in minder dan 30 minuten, of 60 min met verdere zuivering door preparatieve HPLC.
