Detta manuskript beskriver ett experimentellt tillvägagångssätt för att morfologiskt och biokemiskt karakterisera hästocyter. Specifikt illustrerar föreliggande arbete hur man samlar omogena och mogna hästocyter genom ultraljudstyrd äggupphämtning (OPU) och hur man undersöker kromosomsegregation, spindelmorfologi, global histonacetylering och mRNA-uttryck.
