Dieses Manuskript beschreibt einen einfach Dot Blot Assay für die Quantifizierung der Adeno-assoziierte Virus (AAV) Titer und deren Anwendung zur Untersuchung der Rolle von Montage-aktivierende Proteine (AAPs), eine neuartige Klasse von nichttragenden virale Proteine in allen AAV Serotypen, bei der Förderung der Versammlung des Capsids verwandt und heterologen AAV-Serotypen abgeleitet.
