Hemos desarrollado una plataforma microfluídica para la prueba rápida de la susceptibilidad a los antibióticos. El líquido se pasa a altas velocidades sobre las bacterias inmovilizadas en el fondo de un canal microfluídico. En presencia de estrés y antibióticos, las cepas susceptibles de bacterias mueren rápidamente. Sin embargo, las bacterias resistentes pueden sobrevivir a estas condiciones estresantes.
