Presentamos técnicas simples para aislar cromosomas gigantes lampbrush transcripcionalmente activas a partir de ovocitos de ranas y salamandras que viven. Se describe cómo observar estos cromosomas "vivo" por contraste de fase o contraste diferencial de interferencia, y la forma de solucionarlos por hibridación fluorescente in situ o tinción de inmunofluorescencia.
