Her introducerer og beskriver vi en ikke-radioaktiv og noninvasive metode til at vurdere de novo proteinsyntese in vivo, ved hjælp af nematode Caenorhabditis elegans og fluorescens opsving efter photobleaching (FRAP). Denne metode kan kombineres med genetiske og/eller farmakologiske skærme for at identificere nye modulatorer af proteinsyntese.
