Uma maneira rápida e robusta de isolar células-tronco adultas viável epiteliais da pele humana é descrito. O método utiliza a digestão enzimática da matriz de colágeno da pele, seguido por arrancar dos folículos pilosos e isolamento de células em suspensão simples ou fragmentos de tecido para cultura de células.
