Microglia zijn gevestigd macrofagen dat de eerste lijn van verdediging en het immuunsysteem de bewaking van het centrale zenuwstelsel te bieden. MicroRNA zijn moleculen die een belangrijke rol spelen in tal van fysiologische processen, zoals activatie en differentiatie van macrofagen. In dit artikel beschrijven we de methode voor het meten van microRNA's in de microglia.
