Biokompatible pH responsive sol-gel nanosensorer kan inkorporeres i poly (mælke-co-glycolsyre) (PLGA) Electrospun stillads. De producerede selvrapportering stilladser kan bruges til in situ overvågning af microenvironmental, men samtidig dyrkning af celler på stilladset. Dette er en fordel, da 3D cellulære konstruktion kan overvåges i realtid uden at forstyrre eksperimentet.
