Los lavados pulmonares repetidas en cerdos anestesiados inducen lesión pulmonar se asemeja a los principales aspectos del síndrome de dificultad respiratoria aguda humana (SDRA). Para ello, los pulmones se lavan repetidamente con 0,9% de solución salina a 37 ° C.
