Een methode voor massaspectrometrische analyse van endogene peptiden in menselijke cerebrospinale vloeistof (CSF) wordt gepresenteerd. Door molecuulgewicht cut-off filtratie, chromatografische pre fractionering, massaspectrometrische analyse en een daaropvolgende combinatie van peptide identificatie strategieën, bleek het mogelijk om uit te breiden van de bekende CSF peptidome bijna tien keer in vergelijking naar eerdere studies.
