Une méthode pour fournir des cellules souches neurales, adaptable pour injecter des solutions ou des suspensions, par l’artère carotide commune (souris) ou l’artère carotide externe (rat) après un AVC ischémique est rapporté. Les cellules injectées sont réparties largement dans tout le parenchyme cérébral et peuvent être détectées jusqu’à 30 d après l’accouchement.
