Les mitochondries peuvent utiliser le potentiel électrochimique à travers leur membrane interne (Δ Ψm) pour séquestrer le calcium (Ca2 +), ce qui leur permet de façonner Ca cytosolique 2+ de signalisation dans la cellule. Nous décrivons un procédé pour mesurer simultanément les mitochondries Ca2 + d'absorption et ΔΨ m dans les cellules vivantes en utilisant des colorants fluorescents et de la microscopie confocale.
