Denna studie beskriver den mikroskopiska övervakningen av pneumokocker anslutning till von Willebrands faktor strängar som produceras på ytan av differentierade mänskliga primära endotelceller under skjuvning stress i definierade flödesförhållanden. Detta protokoll kan utökas till detaljerad visualisering av specifika cellstrukturer och kvantifiering av bakterier genom att tillämpa differentiell immunofärgning procedurer.
