Desenvolvemos um modelo de coioamnionite para simular a exposição fetal à inflamação materna (FEMI) sem complicações de organismos vivos para examinar os efeitos do FEMI no desenvolvimento do trato intestinal da prole. Isso permite o estudo de causas mecanicistas para o desenvolvimento de lesões intestinais após a coioamnionite.
