We beschrijven een methode die de kinetiek van ionen transport van membraaneiwitten maatregelen naast locatie-specifieke analyse van conformationele veranderingen met behulp van fluorescentie op enkele cellen. Deze techniek is aanpasbaar aan ionkanalen, transporteurs en ion pompen en kan worden gebruikt om de afstand tussen de beperkingen eiwitsubeenheden te bepalen.
